Cuban writer Humberto Arenal 2007 National Literature Prize winner, at Bogota Book Fair

The first book he commented on in front of a large crowd was Six Exemplary Playwrights, considered a didactic work as a result of his years dedicated to teaching theater.

Cuban writer Humberto Arenal, 2007 National Literature Prize winner, launched a retrospective selection of his work at the Bogota Book Fair.

The selection brings together aspects of the life and work of six famous dramatists:á Molliere, Gertrudis Gomez de Avellaneda, Anton Checkhov, Ramon Maria del Valle Inclan, Eugene O Neill and Virgilio Pineira.

The author also talked about the second edition of his praised work Allegro de Habaneras well considered for its homage to Havana city that mentions historical quotes about the education process of the Cuban capital.

On the Cuban Day at the Fair, writer Francisco Lopez introduced Humberto Arenal and his vast and important work in different aspects of his life.
