The First Ordinary Session of the 7th Legislature of the Cuban National Assembly (Parliament) takes place on Friday at Havana’s Convention Center.
Parliamentarians will discuss important topics related to the economic and social life in the country and will approve the 85 parliamentary groups of friendship and the 12 permanent working commissions of the legislative body that were created with a provisional nature last May.
Among other aspects, parliamentarians will discuss a bill on social
security and will listen to a report from the Ministry of the Iron
Industry.
Prior to this ordinary session, the 12 permanent working commissions met on Monday and Tuesday.
