The Provincial Department of Science, Technology and Environment in Holguin sent a Special recognition to members of the ECOARTE Project, in the mining region of Moa.
The letter, signed by Aseen Toledo and Norelis Peña, both specialists in environmental education and management of CITMA, is addressed to children and adolescents, as well as people of Moa in general who have provided valuable support in the management and protection of nature in this north-eastern region of Holguin.
The document expresses special recognition to the Melaneo Maden Betancourt, MSc., in charge of the ECOARTE Community environmental education program.
”Congratulations in the year of Planet Earth, for all actions taken in support of environmental protection and especially for the reforestation activities that people of Moa have undertaken during the tree planting campaign “Plantemos por el Planeta”, said the letter.
"We urge people to continue with this noble work and the commitment that this implies for mankind in these times, crucial for future generations, when a Better World is Possible ", concluded the message to the members of this important environmental project in Moa. / Felix
