The Bolivian Movement of Solidarity with Cuba is working hard to publicize the case of five Cuban antiterrorists enduring unfair imprisonment in US prisons since 1998.

Bolivian solidarity activists are carrying out a series of actions to inform Bolivians on the situation of Gerardo Hernandez, Fernando Gonzalez, Rene Gonzalez, Ramon Labañino and Antonio Guerrero.
Movement chairman Patricia Jimenez told Prensa Latina the group will to step up its campaign for their release.
"After learning about the latest ruling by three judges from the Atlanta Court of Appeals, which was influenced by obvious political pressure, those of us who support the Cuban people and The Five have expressed our rejection," she added.
The Atlanta court upheld the sentences handed over to the Cuban antiterrorists.
Therefore, we have proposed to continue to denounce the US government"s outrage and harassment against Cuba and its Revolution, which will turn 50 years next January, Jimenez pointed out.
Among the activities being carried out to demand the release of the five Heroes of the Republic of Cuba, Jimenez mentioned a Meeting of Intellectuals, scheduled for late July in La Paz.
At the meeting, the Movement will have a stand to inform on the trial of The Five, whose release is being requested around the world.
They will also hold roundtable discussions with the participation of lawyers and students to discuss violations committed during the trial.
