Cuban blind people count on seven computing classrooms in specialized centers

Cuban blind people count on seven computing classrooms in specialized centers to learn how to work with computers and different digital techniques.

Luis Manuel Suarez, electronic system analyst in the ANCI (National Blind People Association), said that there are computer laboratories in Havana and Matanzas (west), Cienfuegos (center), Granma and Santiago de Cuba (east).

The classrooms in Havana are in the ANCI Cultural Center and the National Center for Rehabilitation of the Blind, with a great amount of technical features.

The purpose of this social network is to complete installations in the rest of the Cuban provinces, to allow the access of blind people to virtual libraries, courses and international events.
