Cuban company SAREX which produces polypropylene containers is increasing
The firm, the only one of its kind in the country, supplied more than 940,000 sacks to collect coffee, due to the emergency speed up the harvest, as a result of two hurricanes that hit the country recently.

Company executives pointed out that 2.6 million sacks for rice were made and they are working to meet the demand for sacks from the sugar industry.

According to estimates, the Cuban market needs some 50 million sacks to meet the demands from the sugar industry, the Agriculture Ministry and other sectors.

Therefore, a second plant will be built soon to supply up to 21 million polypropylene sacks of different kinds.
