Cuban scientific aide Fidel Angel Castro (Fidel Castro's son) received the Russian Kurchatov Award for his nuclear research in Moscow.
Later he studied in Soviet Union in Moscow State University. His scientific interest deals with theoretical nuclear physics. He has published many scientific papers in Cuba, Spain and Russia. Then he headed Cuba's nuclear Agency and started the construction of Cuban nuclear power station with the Soviet Union.
