Olympic champion and world record holder of Cuba, Dayron Robles, set the world’s season time when he clocked 13.04 seconds at the Golden Spike IAAF meeting in Ostrava, Czech Republic, to heads this way the world ranking in 110m hurdles.

Robles, 22, won the race preceding American Dexter Faulk (13.13) and Bahamian Shamar Sands (13.38), reported Cuban Granma newspaper.
The wind was at the maximum allowed (2 meters per second) during the race and Robles broke the other previous SB set last May 8 by David Oliver in Doha, Qatar (13.09) despite having the slowest reaction time (0.183).
This was the second victory for Robles, since he had won in Thessalonica, Greece with a 13.30 sec mark.
His teammate, Dayron Capetillo, occupied the seventh position with 13.74 sec, while the Cuban Anay Tejeda finished sixth (12.97) in 110m hurdles, in which the Jamaican woman Delloreen Ennis-Londo reigned with 12.79
