Muñecos Ballet presented at the Teresa Carreno Theater in Caracas

Venezuela, Cuba, Argentina, Ukraine and Belarus were honored with a standing ovation at a Ballet gala at the Teresa Carreno Theater in Caracas.

They performed the Pax de deux "Munecos" with music Rembert Egues and choreography by Alberto Mendez accompanied by Gran Mariscal de Ayacucho Symphonic Orchestra conducted by Maestro Antonio Delgado.

Cuban National Ballet dancers Anette Delgado and Yoel Carreno earned praise for the staging of Munecos, the charming story of a typical Cuban doll and the leather soldier.

Carreno expressed thanks for the invitation to this International Gala within the 2009 World Ballet Fiesta and lauded the progress of Venezuela's Teresa Carreno Ballet with Cuban support.
