Telesur and Voltaire Reporters, who Left Tripoli, Arrived Safe in Malta

SOUTH JOURNAL.August 29, 2011. After 36 hours onboard a small boat, 52 persons including reporters of Telesur, Press TV, and Voltaire Network arrived safely in Valletta city, Malta, said Voltaire's editor Thierry Meyssan in a report to the South Journal.

Upon their arrival in the city, local authorities and ambassadors from different missions, except France, attended a ceremony for the group.

The reporters, who were covering the events in Libya, were trapped at Tripoli's Rixos hotel as the rebels seized the city.
