Representatives of 17 companies and an agency to promote exports of goods and services from Trinidad and Tobago explore today new business opportunities in Cuba, in order to expand bilateral exchanges in several economic sectors.
Organized by the Trinitarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the business mission is made up by major firms engaged in the marketing of foods and beverages, chemicals and building materials, among others, said Celia Labora, director of International Relations of the Cuban Chamber.
In the business forum held on Thursday, Labora said the two countries maintain ties in sectors such as agriculture, sports and health, successfully developed with a positive impact on bilateral relations.
Catherine Kumar, CEO of the Trinitarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, expressed the intention to trade with Cuba, as well as the interests of the members of the delegation to learn about the innovative investment opportunities.
