The Mexican airline Interjet announced that on October 15 will begin operating two new routes: Mexico- Varadero and Monterrey- Havana.
So far, the company performed 24 weekly flights between Havana and Mexico City and 14 between Havana and Cancun, Quintana Roo.
Jose Luis Garza Alvarez, CEO of the airline, emphasized that the Monterrey-Havana flight will have eight weekly operations, departures on Thursday, Friday, Sunday and Monday. The Mexico-Varadero route will operate four flights a week, on Thursdays and Sundays.
Interjet flies to 47 destinations, including 10 international, of which only those of Cuba are in the Caribbean.
