Young pianists to perform in Havana in June
The Fourth Meeting of Young Pianist will be held in Havana from June 2nd to the 26th with the participation of young talented pianists.
Pianists from China, Belarus, Armenia, South Korea, Russia, Egypt, United States and Cuba will be on hand to perform some 20 concerts.
The inauguration of the event will be in the hands of Russian instrumentalist Alexander Moutouzkine, who will be accompanied by the National Symphonic Orchestra directed by Maestro Enrique Perez Mesa.
Other guests will be Chinese pianist Sining Liu; Alexandra Bellakovich-Shkoda, from Belarús; Khowoon Kim, of South Korea; and Edward Neeman, from the US.
The sites of this initiative by Professor Salomon Gadles Mikowsky and the Marti Theater will be the Ignacio Cervantes Hall and the Convent of San Francisco de Asis.
