Spanish court favors Havana Club rum in Bacardi claim
The provincial court of Madrid, the Spanish capital, rejected Bacardi's claims over the property of the Havana Club Rum. A Havana Club International Incorporated enterprise report says that the Spanish institution ruled against a suit filed by the famous Bacardi rum company over the property of the Havana Club brand in Spain.
Stress on conservation of Cuban Protected Areas
Santiago de Cuba province, with 24 protected areas, engages in reorganizing management plans for the conservation of natural and historic values of those sites.

Cuba VP heads ALBA summit mission
Vice President Carlos Lage is heading the Cuban delegation to the fifth Summit of the Bolivarian Alternative for the Americas (ALBA), to begin Saturday in the Venezuelan city of Barquisimeto, it was informed here.
