12 Countries to Cuban Educational Seminar

The May 22-25 forum in Las Tunas, Cuba, was co-sponsored by the local CEDUT (Center of Studies of University Education) and UN Regional Office for Education for Latin America and the Caribbean.
Doctor Ulises Diaz, director of CEDUT, said that confirmations have so far come from Mexico, Venezuela, Colombia, Argentina, Spain, Peru, Chile, Costa Rica, Uruguay, El Salvador, Brazil and Jamaica.
The guest list includes 125 professors and specialists from 12 of the 14 Cuban provinces and the Isle of Youth.
The agenda involves methodology, timetable design and evaluation, teaching of sciences, environmental and distance learning, developing skills and dexterity, educational ethics and technology.
