Chucho Valdes to preside Jazz Festival in Varadero

Varadero, a major Caribbean tourist destination will be the main venue of the festival which will spill out to the neighboring cities of Matanzas and Cardenas.
The president of the Matanzas branch of the Cuban Institute of Music, Reynaldo Dominguez told the acn news agency that among the stages that will welcome jazz musicians are the Plaza America Convention Center, the ARTEX piano bar and the Mambo Club.
"Some of the best jazz musicians from Cuba and abroad will be participating in the festival," said Dominguez.
