An uncommon side of the Cuban president Fidel Castro for the specialists of Cuban art, is exhibited during the entire month of August in the Museum Library Servando Cabrera Moreno, of Havana.
The work, which belongs to a private collection, presides over a special exhibition celebrating Fidel's 81 birthday. The exhibition also comprises a face of the series Guerilla Fighters and two Peasants, all of them from the so-called epic stage of the painter.
Servando Cabrera (Havana, 1923-1981), painter of fundamentally figurative style, is one of the most important representatives in the Cuban plastic arts of the XX century.
