Cuba runs network for sightless

A social network for Cuban sightless operate at several provinces to help them master the technology and participate in contests and other events.
Funded by the National Organization of Spanish Blind for Latin America, the network will run two branches in Havana and in Havana, Matanzas and Villa Clara provinces.
Engineer Roberto Perez de Paz told the national news agency AIN that the network works with JAWS program that helps the blind read with audio incorporated on a talking screen.
He also mentioned plans to extend the network nation wide and help those people many of whom were trained at youth computer clubs.
