The OFAC said the Texas-based company, owned by Sabre Holdings TSG.N, violated the blockade 1,458 times between January 1998 and April 2004.
In another case, American Express Travel Related Services Co., Inc. was also fined $16,625 after a subsidiary in Mexico sold travel packages to Cuba, a popular tourist destination in the Caribbean, OFAC said.
Although the Bush Administration has put emphasis on the tourist industry, the blockade against Cuba also stretches to medicines and health technologies.
