About 300 experts from 15 nations are expected to debate in this city the latest in orthopedic surgery, in the framework of the International Congress of this specialty, slated for September 17-22.
Organizing Committee vice president Ramon Suarez told Prensa Latina that issues like invasive minimum surgery, osteoporosis, asthroscopy, tibia osteothomy will be on the table of the event.
The forum, to be run in the Vinales municipality, will be sponsored by the International Society of Orthopedics and Traumatology and the Spanish Association of Arthroscopy.
According to Suarez, the meeting's agenda includes courses on orthopedic lesions in polytraumatized patients and the latest in hip asthroscopy, among others.
