The Cuban pianist traveled to Bogota, Colombia, where hell share the stage with other musicians and deliver master classes.
In statements to Prensa Latina news agency minutes before leaving, the lauded musician expressed his admiration and special pride for the people of that South American nation, and added that this is the country he has visited the most.
Fernández, labeled one of the most versatile performers of the present day, affirmed hes scheduled to have a presentation in the Colombian Ministry of Culture to launch CD "Dos trovadores" (Two Troubadours) along with Puerto Rican singer-songwriter Danny Rivera.
The CD includes 14 classical themes sung by several generations in Latin America and Spain, among which highlights go to "Capullito de alelí", "Campanitas de cristal", "Veinte años" and "Santa Cecilia".
