Zimbabwe's Vice President Joyce Teurai Ropa Mujuru Sunday called Cuba big sister, beginning an official 4-day visit to the Caribbean country aimed at strengthening bilateral links.
"There are many things we can learn from Cuba, who we consider our big sister," the visitor told Prensa Latina shortly after her arrival at Havana's Jose Marti international airport on Saturday.
Ropa Mujuru emphasized that she came to Cuba to continue strengthening her country's educational, health, and women protection programs with Havana.
In her second visit to Cuba and the first since she assumed the current post, the vice president's agenda includes meetings with the vice president of the Council of State, Esteban Lazo, and other Cuban government officials, apart from a visit to places of cultural and scientific interest.
