Zimbabwe VP ends her visit to Cuba

Speaking to reporters before departing at the Jose Marti International airport in Havana, the visitor noted that she learned an important lesson on how perseverance and people's unity can lead to the fulfillment of any objectives.
Ropa Mujuru added that during her meeting with Cuban VP Esteban lazo, they exchanged opinions about the realities in her country and in Cuba and about the situation in Africa and Latin America in general.
Sje recalled that Zimbabwe has been under constant imperial pressures and that her people should learn from the Cuban nation, which has been suffering a US financial, trade and economic blockade for almost fifty years.
She also praised the important role played by women on the island thanks to education and political will of the Cuban government and the Communist Party.
During the last day of her visit, the VP visited the pharmaceutical
laboratories of LABIOFAM and met with Foreign Minister Felipe Perez Roque.
