"El Rey de los Charangueros", newest CD Album by maestro David Calzado his Charanga Habanera, enjoys the yields of its release to the market with Planet Records label.

La Charanga returns to their huge international public of dancers with the highly awaited new CD in the second half of 2007. The tremendous reception from Cuban and Latin music lovers is now joining the approval of critics. "El Rey de los charangueros" has quickly topped the charts.

Maestro David Calzado released 11 themes of a fresh, varied and strong taste, which besides the traditional timba charangera includes an interesting incursion into the world of reggaeton with theme "El Canon" and even a beautiful ballad entitled "Dime quién".

Also outstanding is the explosive theme "El expediente". "El Rey de los Charangueros" is actually a magnificent album.
