Cuba makes splash at Japan Tourism Fair

A great number of visitors and tourism professionals took the opportunity Friday to learn about Cuba"s natural resources, social progress and tourist attractions at the Jata International Tourism Fair in Tokyo.
The Jata 2007 event at the Big Sight Conference Center served as a place of interchange for travel agencies and tour operators from 134 countries.
Cuban diplomatic said that Cuban officials exchanged ideas with Japanese Transportation, Land, and Infrastructure Vice Minister Midori Matsushima and Tourism Policy Vice Minister Yoshiaki Honpo.
Cuban tourist institution representatives met with Japanese tourism journalists and provided information about Cuban attractions.
