Members of Cuban National Ballet in Venezuela

A representation of the Cuban National Ballet that includes soloists Linnet Gonzalez and Ernesto Alvarez and historian Miguel Cabrera participate in a ballet event called "An encounter with Dance" that begins on Thursday in Caracas, Venezuela.
Maestro Cabrera will be in charge of the didactic-artistic session at the Ballet School of the Americas that was requested by the Foundation of Young Choreographers and that will cover the history, techniques, expression and styles of ballet.
Between September 29th and October 8th, the delegation of the Cuban National Ballet participated in the fourth edition of the 'Solidarity Dance Festival, a Meeting of Bolivarian Countries and the Caribbean' that took place in Maracaibo and was dedicated to Simon Bolivar.
The event was organized by the Dance Association of Zulia and some of the most important dance companies that participated included the National Ballet of the Dominican Republic, Contemporary Dance of Puerto Rico, the National Ballet of Peru and the Aymara Ballet of Ecuador.
During their stay in the capital of the state of Zulia, the members of the Cuban group received diplomas from several city halls and from the Festival's Presidency.
