"We hope October 30 will be a day for an overwhelming vote at the General Assembly to favor the cause of the Cuban people," the Cuban minister said Wednesday in front of a numerous group of youth who attended the launching of the multimedia project Cubavsbloqueo.
Perez Roque termed the economic, trade and financial siege against the island "the most irrational policy imposed on any nation in the world."
However, he noted, Cuba has resisted each US governments' aggression with the conviction that justice will be reached one day.
The diplomat explained that despite obstacles, 70 percent of medicines the country consumes have been produced on the island, as well as eight of the 13 vaccines freely provided to Cuban children.
The multimedia, which invites to reproduce and distribute all its content, includes nine chapters, among them, Cuba's reports since 1992, results of the UN voting, and international support to the Caribbean country.
