People's Power Municipal Assemblies meet in Cuba on Sunday

The Cuban Council of State summoned the creation of the People's Power Municipal Assemblies by Nov 16, national press publishes Thursday.
That day, the elected delegates in the October 21-28 elections will meet to form local governments, which will run for two and a half years, the text states.
The Council of State called July 9 general elections in the island, and in the first stage, 96.49 percent of 8,176,085 Cubans voted, the National Electoral Commission reported.
