Cuban Doctors Help Flood Victims in Mexico

A team of 55 Cuban doctors are assisting victims in the Mexican state of Tabasco in southern Mexico, hit by the worst flooding in its history.
The local press reported on Wednesday that the physicians arrived in Tabasco with authorization from the Mexican government and brought two tons of medicines with them.
The doctors are seeing a thousand persons and providing some two thousand vaccines per day, stated Jose Maria Leyva, head of the relief effort, reported ANSA news service.
