After several years recessing, carnival festivities will be arranged in Varadero Beach, the most important Cuban sea resort, by the Ministries of Culture and Tourism of Cuba from coming December 6th, informed Reynaldo Domínguez member of the organizing committee.
The first, second and third weeks the festivities will take place from Thursday to Sunday in this touristic centre located at 140 kilometers Esat of Havana City, and they will also spread to Santa Marta and Boca de Camarioca, for enjoyment of the local population.
Their schedule is as follows: from Thursday to Saturday carnival decorated carriages parade, Friday dancing contests, and Sunday sea events in the Paso Malo canal.
All this celebration will be entertained by the leading popular Cuban orchestras for the dancers to enjoy, always chosing the best from Cuban talents.
These celebrations are part of the policies carried out by both ministries of becoming Cuba into a huge Cultural zone.
