Cuba wound up the mechanic setting up of six generators in the eolian park of Gibara, with 5.1 megawatts, the one with larger capacity in the country, "Trabajadores" newspaper reported Monday.
Located near the eastern Holguin city of Gibara, over 435 miles east of Havana, this is the first park of this kind that will give electricity to the national distribution system, the daily stated.
At present, the country sets up the electric system of machineries, links the control hall with the 33,000-kilowatt line of 3.7 miles of extension that will take energy to the substation and the national network.
When the inter-connection ends the next days, the emplacement will be in condition for the implementation, the publication noted.
