Cuba's Parliament to Analize 2007 Economic Results

The Cuban parliament was summoned for an ordinary session scheduled for December 28 at Havana's Convention Center to analyze the economic outcomes and budget implementation in 2007, and to determine the state budget for 2008.
Prior to the meeting, the 10 standing committees will make a thorough review of the country's economic and social plan, and budget.
Reports from the Ministries of Economy and Planning, and Finance and Prices will be the starting point for the committees' discussions.
Being this the closing ordinary session of the current legislature, which took office in 2003, each committee will review its efforts during the five-year period.
