Guardalavaca beach, much more than a paradise of sun, fine sand, colorful sea and gorgeous scape by the coastHolguin, Cuba.- The high season for international tourism in Holguin tourism resorts -the third in Cuba, opened its doors already and a growth of visits by 15 percent this November - the best these last years, is seen here as an omen of an important increase in the months to come.

The delegate of the Ministry of Tourism in Holguin, Lorenzo Pena Leyva, said that at about 54 weekly flights to the Frank Pais international airport are expected, what is favored by the terminal's operation enhancement and the new buses at tourism service.

The celebration here of the AFAT Convention and the talks with tourism powerhouses have fertilized the interest of visiting Cuba, mostly after the improvement experienced by Holguin facilities as the Club Amigo Atlantico, Playa Pesquero and others from the local leisure industry.

Pena Leyva predicts that within a year the province must have increased the number of vacationers per day, as well as revenues and better utilities from one of the most important Cuban industries for its economic efficiency.
