Camerata Romeu, the string group created and directed by Zenaida Castro Romeu almost 15 years ago gave another example of their interpretative excellence in two acclaimed concerts offered last December in Aix-en-Provence, France.
Camerata arrive to the former capital city of the Provence region after an special invitation made by the Arts et Partage association and other cultural institutions of the region.
The concerts were attended by a great number of public who were captivated by the sound virtuosity of the beautiful women of Camerata, who performed a repertoire of the Cuban music (following their CD - Cuba Mia).
Such a fabulous situation was chosen by the Provence-Alps-Cote d Azur Region General Council to give the Honour Medal of Creativity to the prestigious choral and orchestra director Zenaida Castro Romeu.
