National Judo Championship in Central Cuba

The central Cuban province of Cienfuegos will host the National Judo Championship this month.
Men will compete in the 55, 60, 66, 73, 81, 90, 100 and +100-kilogram divisions, while women will participate in the 44, 48, 52, 57, 63, 70, 78 and +78-kilogram categories.
Experts noted that outstanding judokas like Driulis González (63 kg), Yurisel Laborde (78 kg) and Yanet Bermoy (48 kg), among the women, would participate in the championship.
Yordanis Arencibia (66 kg) and Oreidis Despaigne (100), among others, will participate in the men's competition.
So far, five Cuban judokas have qualified for the Olympic Games in Beijing, China, this year.
