The new venue of the Jose Marti Association of Friendship with Cuba was inaugurated on Monday in Istanbul, the Turkish capital, with an exhibition of political posters by the Havana-based Organization in Solidarity with the Peoples of Africa, Asia and Latin America (OSPAAAL).
The ceremony was attended by the Cuban ambassador in Turkey, Ernesto Gomez Abascal, and by Oguz Kavala, president of the Jose Marti Friendship Association in Istanbul.
This solidarity group was created in 2002 and they recently finished their plenary assembly, in which they reaffirmed their willingness to continue their friendship and solidarity work with the Cuban Revolution.
