The fourth Rock Revolution Music Festival begins Thursday to celebrate the 49th anniversary of the triumph of the revolution Jan 1st, 1959, as an introduction for the coming national encounter of founders of the genre.
The event, sponsored by Antonio Maria Romeo Music Company, the Provincial Culture Office and Communist Youth Union, will last until Saturday.
Bands like Escape, Hipnosis, Ancestro, Switch, The Last Forguet Day and Chlover, host of the event, will perform, among others, in Guanajay, south of Havana.
An Expo-lente rock exhibition, group concerts, discussions and debates on national and international rock music are included in the agenda of the festival.
