Cuban minister of Culture Abel Prieto is visiting Quito, Ecuador to participate for the inauguration of the National Culture Center.
Ecuadorian president Rafael Correa will chair the opening ceremony of that center, in which the office for the Ministry of Culture of this country will reside.
The opportunity will be used to present an exhibition of maestro Estuardo Maldonado followed by an artistic event for the public at the new "Plaza de las Culturas."
The Cultural Center will have a library, a bookstore of Ecuadorian authors, a sonorous and audiovisual archive, a broadcasting room and the "Pablo Palacio" word museum.
The inauguration will also have the presence of Venezuelan Culture minister Francisco Sesto and other special guests.
