The visitor will evaluate perspectives for increased Cuban activity in the tasks of the organization and its commitments, derived from participation in the main IMO agreements and resolutions.
Mitropoulos will have conversations with high-ranking Cuban officials and will visit places of interest directly linked to the maritime sector, as well as others of historic and culture character. Cuba has been part of IMO since 1966.
