According to Granma news daily, during the ceremonies, Almeida was accompanied by First Deputy Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez and by Angel Reigosa de la Cruz, head of the Protocol Office.
The new ambassadors are David Clifford Saviye, of the Republic of Zambia; Nathaniel Barnes, of the Republic of Liberia; and Abderrahim Ould Hadrami, of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania.
At the end of the ceremonies, the ambassadors placed floral tributes at the Jose Marti monument in the Revolution Square.
