The festivities will be part of the political-ideology day of the union movement, which coincides with the 50th anniversary of the revolution and 70th anniversary of the formation of the Federation of Cuban Workers (CTC), the Granma newspaper reported.
Massive enthusiasm and the maximum rationality in using resources will be the key points, said CTC General Secretary Salvador Valdés Mesa at a meeting in the capital.
The Trabajadores newspaper pointed out that from April 22 to 30, meetings in each workplace will be held.
Meanwhile, the central program includes the National Volunteer Day of Work on April 20, a meeting on Lenin Hill in the capital-city neighborhood of Regla, a cultural-political event, and awards made to prominent union leaders.
During this celebration, there will also be a call for international solidarity in the struggle to win the freedom of the Cuban Five - anti-terrorists fighters who are unfairly imprisoned in the United States.
