The Varadero resort will be the venue of a great party which will include concerts, exhibitions and dances in more than ten places, from 2:00 p.m. and until the early morning. It will cover a great range of the musical work of the island as well as a sample of important figures from the international sphere.

The guests will be able to appreciate trova, jazz, concert and chamber music, rumba and traditional music together with the famous orchestras of Cuban popular music and the current musical trends.

Very important international figures have already confirmed their presence: the Brazilian Simone, the Puerto Ricans Andy Montañez, Danny Rivera and Lucecita Benitez, the Dominicans Víctor Víctor and Sonia Silvestre, the Spaniards Diango and Masiel. From Africa there will come famous orchestras that cultivate Cuban dance music.

From Cuba there will participate: Van Van, Aragón, Omara Portuondo, Eliades Ochoa, Adalberto Álvarez y su son, Manolito Simonet y su trabuco, José María Vitier, Los Muñequitos de Matanzas, Afrocuba, Orquesta Jorrín, Pancho Amat, Ernán López Nusa, Carlos Varela and others.

The theaters from Cárdenas and the Sauto from Matanzas will also open their doors as sub-venues, as well as the Tropicana Cabaret from Matanzas and the Continental Cabaret from Varadero will also add guest stars to the event.

The Great Closing Concert will join together thousands of spectators in a public plaza with the presence of the most important Cuban and foreign guest to the Festival.
