Located at "Ignacio Agramonte" International Airport, this school belongs to the Institute of Civil Aeronautic of Cuba and was opened on April 26th 2003.
Each training cycle is divided into two courses, the first one: a theoretical at one institute in Havana; the second, a practical one in Camagüey (the largest province in Cuba which is recognized for its plains).
The local center renewed the training of the staff that stopped in 1990. An event for the fifth anniversary of the foundation of the center will be held next April 25th; in which13 students are taking courses by these days.
The origin of "Ignacio Agramonte" International Airport dates from 80 years ago, when an air station that belonged to Pan American Airways Company was opened.
