Opens in Havana: Branch of ALBA Bank

A branch of the Bank of the Bolivarian Alternative for the Americas or ALBA Bank was inaugurated on Wednesday in Havana.
The agreement was signed by Venezuelan finance Minister Rafael Isea; Nicaraguan Treasury Minister Alberto Guevara; the Bolivian ambassador in Havana, Saul Chavez Orozco; and Francisco Soberon, Minister-President of the Central Bank of Cuba.
According to the constituent agreement, in the next 30 days, the working commissions will meet and the branch of the Bank will be fully operational in early May.
