According to the Cuban News Agency during the period the voltage increased in more than 600 areas, which represents more than 88 percent of the neighborhoods where the electric fluid didn't satisfy the demand for the bad conditions of the electiric wires and the increment of the consumption.

The news highlights that in interview with the technical vice-director of the Electric Basic Organization in the province, Arisbel Cruz, said that in that stage the workers of the company developed some 20, 000 actions to rehabilitate the lines.

The substitution of more than 7, 000 posts and the installation of meters and transformers, among other divices to avoid accidents in labor centers and in the housings, were others of the actions carried out by Electric Basic Organization.

The significant savings that Cuba achieves with the Energy Revolution will be reverted in the development of other programs, such as the construction and repair of housings.
