Addressing about one hundred people at the Cuban embassy in Moscow, Ambassador Jorge Marti highlighted that the defense of the country is the first duty of those morally and spiritually committed to the homeland.
He denounced the aggressive police unsuccessfully maintained by US governments for nearly 50 years, and reinforced by the Bush administration.
In contrast, Marti explained, Cuba is undergoing real recovery, noticeable in public transportation, highway reconstructions, and in other sectors directly linked to the people's quality of life.
Of special interest for the participants to the meeting were the testimonies of Bernardo Torres and Roberto Muguercia, who recently attended in Havana the forum Cuban Residents Abroad against the Blockade and Terror.
