Cuban Parliamentarians Create 12 Working Commissions

The working commissions will be the following: Services; Health and Sports; Youth, Childhood and Womens Equality of Rights; Food Industry; Education, Culture, Science and Technology; Energy and the Environment; Local Government Bodies; National Defense; Foreign Affairs; Legal and Constitutional Affairs; Economic Affairs; and Industry and Constructions.
The decision to create the working commissions was made by Parliament President Ricardo Alarcon in accordance with articles 5, 27 and 28 of the regulations of Parliament.
Alarcon also ordered the creation of a Temporary Commission to analyze the work of the Ministry of the Iron Industry and to write an assessment on the occasion of the upcoming presentation before Parliament of a report by this ministry.
