Antigua and Barbuda Prime Minister Baldwin Spencer called his talk with Cuban President Raul Castro very productive.
We had the opportunity to analyze the current relations between our countries and strengthen these links, the prime minister told press on Tuesday. Spencer, who arrived on Monday in Havana, said they assessed in the meeting the role of the Group of 77 plus China, the presidency of which is being performed by Antigua and Barbuda, and of the Non-Aligned Movement, headed by Cuba.
We are working to reach concrete objectives and new methodology and initiatives to be able to take favorable actions to our people.
Spencer placed a wreath at the monument to Cuban National Hero Jose Marti (1853-1895) at the Revolution Plaza Tuesday morning, accompanied by Cuban Government Minister Ricardo Cabrisas.
According to his agenda, Antigua and Barbuda prime minister will meet several Cuban leaders, including Foreign Minister Felipe Perez Roque and Health Minister Jose Ramon Balaguer.
