This Cuban eastern province is also working in two international projects of sustainable agriculture and in the municipalities of Minas, Nuevitas and Esmeralda, there are classrooms where people are trained on the coastal management of the coasts, linked to the environmental education.

The achievements of Camaguey in this field depend on a great scale in the training given to students, workers and the population in general to strengthen the conscience on how important is to protect the environment.
