The facility, run by the company Campismo Popular (Popular Camping), allows vacationers to be in direct contact with nature and to enjoy a wide range of gastronomic offers.

Company executives said plans include the construction of lodging facilities and the incorporation of means of transportation.

Similar facilities, including Las Clavellinas, Las Palmas, Batalla de Saratoga, La Barbacoa, Punta de Ganado and Monte Oscuro, are available for vacationers in Camagüey during the summer season.

The company has made investments to improve the quality of services and the cabanas' comfort, as well as the dance floor and restaurants.
